Hypnotherapy, also called guided hypnosis, is a form of psychotherapy that uses relaxation, concentration and attention, to achieve an intensified state of consciousness.

The aim of hypnotherapy is to create a positive change in a patient, by using the power of suggestion, while they are in an altered state of awareness. Hypnotherapy uses patient’s mind to help reduce or ease a wide range of problems, like phobias, traumas, stress, unhealthy habits (like smoking or drinking).
